I grew up playing softball and quickly fell in love with pitching from the moment I picked up my mitt. I continued playing through high school, where I also discovered a passion for health and fitness through CrossFit. After competing for several years, I began to experience the effects of overtraining and under-recovery. While injuries brought mental challenges and ultimately led me to hang up my softball jersey, they also sparked a deeper interest in the human body and movement.

Although these experiences initially drew me toward kinesiology, my passion became more personal when my father suffered a heart attack. Through my college studies, I was able to explore my own health and fitness with a strong educational foundation, and more importantly, connect with my dad in a new way by supporting him in his journey.

As I begin my career in this field, I am excited by how much I have already learned and even more motivated by how much there is still to discover. My goal is to make a lasting impact within my community and continue growing within the field.
