VISUAL & SENSORY TRAINING

Neurocognitive, or visual and sensory, training optimizes how your body takes in and processes information. It’s not enough just to keep your eye on the ball.

What is Visual and Sensory Training?

Train your brain to respond in a way that makes use of all of your strength, agility, and range of motion. Peak motor function relies on good sensory input. Your vision is critical in making decisions about how your body stands and reacts to the world around you. See the difference for yourself by incorporating visual training exercises into your fitness routine.

Senaptec Strobe Glasses

Refine your mind every day. Senaptec Strobe Glasses can be used at our Senaptec Sensory Station, with your tablet or smart TV, and during physical training drills. With Senaptec Strobe Glasses, you can take our visual training exercises anywhere.

Senaptec Sensory Station

Starke Industries features a Senaptec Sensory Station to provide you with an immersive cognitive training experience. The Sensory Station assesses your 10 key sensorimotor skills, runs the visual training exercises, analyzes your performance, and develops a training plan optimized just for you.

Senaptec Tablet/App

Visual Clarity

Good vision starts with clear data from the eyes.

Contrast Sensitivity

Detecting contrast is the beginning of vision and is critical for recognizing objects and faces.

Depth Perception

Judging depth assists in navigation, accurate timing, and proper anticipation for potential collision.

Near/Far Quickness

Changing focus quickly is important for movement, spatial judgment, and making timely decisions.

Peripheral Reaction

Moving hands quickly and accurately based on visual input is foundational to interaction with the world.

Multiple Object Tracking

Sensing the movement of multiple objects is crucial for spatial awareness and proper movement.

Reaction Time

Reacting quickly to a visual input is crucial to success in all areas of life.

Target Capture

Fast coordination between peripheral and central vision ensure you observe important information.

Hand/Eye Coordination

The ability to synchronize visual input with hand movements to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Athletes Known to Use Sensory Training Technology

Professional athletes including golfers, baseball players, NBA basketball stars, tennis pros, and more have incorporated cognitive training exercises into their athletic training programs. Reach elite levels with sport specific training for the mind and the body.

Sensory Training for

Poor Posture and Lazy Eye

Posture is dictated by how you see. If you have problems with visual clarity, you may assume a forward head posture that causes stress on the body. If you have a lazy eye, you may not have proper depth perception, in turn causing you to tilt or turn your head for a complete field of view. Improving your neurocognitive function helps realign your body by strengthening visual weaknesses and enhancing your senses.
